Climb aboard the Manu Ele'ele, the Black Bird, a 40’ foot Power Catamaran. The largest fringing reefs in the U.S. are located off the south coast of Molokai and we will take you there! View the underwater using a VideoRay ROV, a submersible Remotely Operated Vehicle. You operate the ROV from within the boat. Videotapes simultaneously and you keep the DVD!
Join us as we search for Humpback Whales. These magnificent mammals come to the Hawaiian Islands from December through April, migrating from Alaska, they mate and calve here. You may also spot the beautiful Spinner Dolphins and Green Sea Turtles! Your opportunity to ride the ocean waves in the Kaiwi and Kalohi Channels. You will have an excellent view from your comfortable leather seats watching the whale’s blowing and breaching, tail slapping and singing, and tending their young-----right before your eyes!
Experience the only 'VideoRay Explorer" on Molokai. The VideoRay Explorer is an underwater robotic camera that allows people to see and explore underwater from the comfort of their leather seats aboard the Manu Ele'ele. Try out the 'Hookah Max'. Hookah Max, same as SNUBA, enables 2 people to dive to 30 feet simultaneously without tanks or certification. You use a snorkeling mask with a mouthpiece connected to a long hose. Explore the crystal blue water, you can see the ocean bottom. You can go down to 30 feet.

Captain Pete knows all about the humpback whales and can tell you tales. Captain Black and Kimo knows all about the local reefs and sea creatures. The "Manu Ele'ele" was built on Molokai by Hawaiian Catamaran. The vessel is Coast Guard documented, fully insured for ocean adventures. The captains are certified in Heartsaver® First Aid and Adult/Child CPR. Tours are intimate with a maximum of 6 participants per tour. Large open space with u-shaped leather seats and plenty of room to move around enabling fantastic pictures.
Our Uncle Earl has great Board Shorts and T-Shirts here on Molokai too! They are micro fiber shorts with the old rice sack prints that was worn in the 60's when our mothers made the shorts out of rice bags. They are super comfortable and dries real quick!
